Interior, fittings and furniture Design. Stage architecture. Graphics

The Teatro Villaret was a pioneer in a new generation of theatres in Portugal – the small “pocket theatres” – accompanying a movement then under way in other European cities.

Later on, for the interior architectural design project of Casa da Música (2004-2005), the Villaret handrails were re-edited.

For the interior furniture for Casa da Música (2004-2005), designed by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, the architect elects Daciano da Costa’s furniture designed for the Teatro Villaret (1964-1965), the Alvor Hotel (1966-1968), the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (1966-1969/1999/2004), the Altis Hotel (1971-1974), the Cultural Center of Belém (1990-1992) and the Coliseu dos Recreios (1993-1994).
