The Atelier started a pioneering work of reeditions by the designer Daciano da Costa with the aim of reintroducing the pieces and objects in new environments, rewriting the history of Portuguese design. 

Pieces by skillful handiwork production characterized by a rigorous methodology faithful to the originals.

Hotel Alvor Praia (1966) was one of the first luxury hotels resulting from the tourist development in Algarve, which began in the second half of the 1960s.

Daciano was responsible for the design of the coffee shop and grill restaurant, treated as autonomous environments and characterized by their own benchmarks.

 Alvor Hotel (reissue) - Chair and table, models designed for the Hotel Alvor Praia (1966), in green and blue; colors inspired by the traditional Algarve boats.

As part of the project of Atelier Daciano da Costa the Alvor Hotel Chair entered the Vitra Design Museum’s collection in 2022.

Alvor Barclays (reissue) - Chair "Barclays", model awarded in 1996 with the 1st Prize of the Montras Barclays Competition, "Art and Design in the City" under the name "Banco com (A)braços". An initiative by Barclays Bank in collaboration with the National Culture Center.

Alvor Casa da Música (reissue) - Chair and table designed for the interior architecture project of Casa da Música (2004), together with the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.

Alvor (1st edition by the Atelier) - Chair and table, Casa da Música (2004) design, with a selection of the color palette of the interior architecture of Hotel Alvor (1966).
