In this article from Binário magazine, the interior design and furnishing project for the new Estoril Casino is presented, developed by decorators Daciano Monteiro da Costa and José Espinho. Created in close collaboration with architects Filipe Nobre de Figueiredo and José de Almeida Segurado, the project sought to achieve aesthetic unity within a large and complex building. Daciano da Costa was responsible for the showrooms, cinema, and boîte areas, assisted by Jorge Vieira and Eduardo Afonso Dias, while José Espinho designed the entrance hall, main lobby, bars, and gaming salons. The article highlights the importance of interior decoration as a key element in defining the overall value and identity of the architectural ensemble.
