Interior Architecture.

With a limited palette of materials, almost without the use of colour, a gradual approach to the sensorial dimensions of the user is made here through the diversification of textures and the expressive mastery of construction. The elements of the architectural surroundings are marked by the crudeness of the exposed concrete, by the rough surface of flamed lioz marble. The coating materials are applied in such a way as to distinguish themselves from this base: polished stone steps, strongly prominent; wood veneer panels with linear metal joints. With a similar logic, a set of prefabricated componentes was developed, assuming the appearance of serial products: a modulated system solves the guard rails, the public seating, the writing desks, the various functional accessories; a metal artefact, suspended from the ceiling, brings together artificial lighting and air conditioning equipment. In the handles and handrails, the choice of solid wood – an organic material, with a pleasant texture and temperature – underlines the invitation to physical contact, to being touched by the hand.
