Understood as an exercise in comprehensive design, Daciano da Costa played a decisive role in the process of revising the interior organization and zoning of the program, working in close coordination with the overall architectural project and supporting the operating plan of the Hotel Altis (1971) as defined by the project’s stakeholders.
The Altis Chair was created by Daciano da Costa for the guest rooms of the Hotel Altis in Lisbon, as part of this integrated design approach that encompassed interiors, furniture, and architecture.
