Daciano da Costa played a key role in reassessing the internal organization and spatial layout of the Hotel Altis in 1971, working in close coordination with the overall architectural project and aligning it with the business strategy defined by the project’s stakeholders.

The Atelier began a pioneering work of reissues of designer Daciano da Costa with the aim of reintroducing the pieces and objects into new environments, rewriting the history of Portuguese design.

Pieces produced by skilled craftsmanship, characterized by a rigorous methodology faithful to the originals.

Understood as an exercise in comprehensive design, Daciano da Costa played a decisive role in the process of revising the interior organization and zoning of the program, working in close coordination with the overall architectural project and supporting the operating plan of the Hotel Altis (1971) as defined by the project’s stakeholders.

The Altis Chair was created by Daciano da Costa for the guest rooms of the Hotel Altis in Lisbon, as part of this integrated design approach that encompassed interiors, furniture, and architecture.
