Sentar Portugal e Boa Mesa Portuguesa, City Hall, Barcelos, 9 November 2019
The Noble Hall and the Gothic Hall of the City Hall in Barcelos receives the exhibitions “Boa Mesa Portuguesa, Sure!” And “Sentar Portugal”, by Paulo Parra, a design reference in Portugal.
At the exhibition “Boa Mesa Portuguesa, Com Certeza!” the Daciano da Costa's "Shepherd, Osaka" (1967-1970) cutlery was on display. Design submitted in 1967 to the Viners International Tableware Design Competition, promoted by the company Viners of Sheffield, for a stainless steel dining and dessert cutlery set. In 1970, the company Chromolit Portugal produced a small series, specially intended for the restaurant of the Portugal Pavilion at the Osaka World Fair.
