The exhibition “Plasticity - A History of Plastics in Portugal”, at the Museum of Leiria, won the Dibner Award for Excellence in Museum Exhibits, awarded by the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT).
In this exhibition you can find some pieces that are part of the MUDE's collection, namely pieces by Daciano da Costa. With the exhibition using a roulement method (every 4 months) over the period of the exhibition, until December you will be able to see an original of the Quadratura Chair (1971-1972) designed for the Documentation Center of LNEC - National Civil Engineering Laboratory and an original of the Penta Chair from the Penta office furniture collection (1994-1995).
